- Wayne Nichols is an Australian comic book artist and commercial illustrator. His recent comic projects include F.V.Z.A. and Ryder on the Storm with writer David Hine, CHURCH OF HELL written by legendary 2000AD scribe Alan Grant and STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed for Dark Horse Comics. Previously he also worked on Giant Size Hulk and Exiles for Marvel Comics. During 2008, Wayne wrapped up pencilling the 4 issue mini-series Afterburn, which is to be adapted for the big screen by Spiderman star Tobey Maguire and producer Neal Moritz. Wayne continues to contribute illustration, concept art and storyboards for media productions both in Australia and abroad, while occassionally feeling a compulsion to compose mind-altering electronic music with his small arsenal of instruments and PC. Wayne was born upon the cusp of cancer and gemini on the 22nd of June. He lives in sunny Brisbane, Australia.
